Engineered, prefabricated, large scale commercial timber portal frame - LVL distribution centre at Marsden Point

Commercial Structures

Timberbuilt has in excess of 20 years experience in the design, engineering and prefabrication of large span commercial timber structures.

Systems and components have been designed, engineered and manufactured for buildings constructed throughout Australia and exported to New Zealand, Fiji, Kiribati and Vanuatu and many of which have resulted in repeat orders.

Applications for our systems are as diverse as curved roof trusses for a beach house at Fraser Island, to a complete 26,000 square metre industrial building for the North Island of New Zealand, all designed, engineered, prefabricated and freighted to site for installation by others.

Projects include retail buildings (hardware stores, supermarkets and shopping complexes) warehouses, buildings for fertiliser storage and distribution, industrial buildings particularly those involving corrosive processes, aircraft hangers, churches, farm buildings, meeting halls and other public buildings as well as road and rail bridges.

Modern factories and warehouses with large open spans are not only possible – but practical and cost effective, not to mention environmentally friendly

These projects are individually and collectively an expression of our design skills and the efficiency and accuracy of our prefabrication processes. The costs of our systems are usually competitive with other material options and we take great pride in the reputation we have established for fair, honest and ethical dealings.

Publication on timber buildings ...with timber, whole roof elements can be built on the ground and lifted up whole, saving on scaffold costs and the dangers of working at heights.
