The History of Timberbuilt's prefabrication:
Timberbuilt has in excess of 20 years experience in the design and prefabrication of large span timber structures.
Since the introduction of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) into Australia in 1986, Timberbuilt has specialised in using LVL to provide complete building systems and components for structures up to 43 metre clear span and roof area as large as 2.6 hectare.
Systems and components have been designed and manufactured for literally hundreds of buildings constructed throughout Australia and exported to New Zealand, Fiji, Kiribati and Vanuatu and many of which have resulted in repeat orders.
Applications for our systems are as diverse as curved roof trusses for a beach house at Fraser Island, to a complete 26,000 square metre industrial building for the North Island of New Zealand, all designed, prefabricated and freighted to site for installation by others.
Projects include retail buildings (hardware stores, supermarkets and shopping complexes) warehouses, buildings for fertilizer storage and distribution, industrial buildings particularly those involving corrosive processes, aircraft hangers, churches, farm buildings, meeting halls and other public buildings as well as road and rail bridges.
These projects are individually and collectively an expression of our design skills and the efficiency and accuracy of our prefabrication processes. The costs of our systems are usually competitive with other material options and we take great pride in the reputation we have established for fair, honest and ethical dealings.
