Once all components were 3D modelled, they were converted into production files and processed by the K2 precision joinery machine. Curved members were modelled, then straightened for processing to ensure all drilled holes and connections were in the right locations.

Curved plywood box section rafters and columns create an inspiring structure for the building

After processing, these components were clamped in custom jigs to re-establish the correct curves. Then the components were screwed together, and plywood facings glued and screwed. All components and their connections are fully engineered for guaranteed performance with minimum weight.
