| 1) Floor joist and Bearer calculator image displays incorrectly |

When using the Floor joist or Bearer calculators, the diagram depicting spans does not display correctly and navigation buttons are not visible.

The computer has font size set to 'large fonts 120 dpi'. To resolve this issue, change font size to '96 dpi' and restart computer.

| 2) "Microsoft .NET Framework" error on Vista |
|
For users running designIT on Vista, a 'Microsoft .NET Framework' error appears on startup of the program.
|
The 'User Account Control (UAC)' setting is enabled. To resolve this issue disable the UAC before running designIT.
The UAC only needs to be disbled for the initial run of designIT, the setting can be re-enabled afterwards

| 3) "Could not load file or assembly" error |
|
When running designIT after installation or an update, a "Could not load file or assembly..." error appears.
|
A corrupt or invalid file version is being used. To resolve this issue, uninstall designIT, delete the designIT folder and then reinstall designIT.
If you have saved designIT job files in the designIT folder, please ensure they are moved before deleting the designIT folder.

| 4) Corrupt shortcut on Windows 98 Operating systems |
|
For users running designIT on Windows 98, designIT shows an "Unhandled exception error" on startup.
|
The desktop shortcut to designIT is corrupt. To resolve this issue, delete the shortcut on the desktop and create a new shortcut to the designIT executable.

| 5) "e-call methods must be packed into a system module" error |
|
"e-call methods must be packed into a system module" error appears when installing designIT.
|
There is a problem with the .net framework 2.0. To resolve this issue, uninstall and reinstall the .net framework 2.0. Users who also have later versions of the .net framework installed (i.e. framework 3.0 & 3.5), will need to first uninstall the later versions before uninstalling framework 2.0.

| 6) designIT installation appears to running set up files of a different program. |
| When running the designIT installation file, setup files of a different program is shown.
|
The installation process has picked up the wrong setup files in the Windows temporary folder. To resolve this issue, copy the designIT installation file to another folder location before running it.

| 7) Invalid printer driver |
|
When using designIT, an error appears when creating a new or viewing a Design certificate/Producer statement.
|
A valid default printer has not been set. To resolve this problem install a printer on the computer.
